Hi-designs was started with a vision: To bring stylish and functional products with an essence of India, to the world.
All large things start with some small situations. In our case, it happened when Roshan visited the famous white desert of Kutch in Gujarat. Kutch is also known for local handicraft products. His IISc batchmates clicked pics for Instagram but didn’t buy anything. They said these products didn’t fit modern sensibilities. Thus, the idea of Hi-Designs was born. We realized a gap for stylish and functional modern products with an essence of India for the world. And like every journey, we started with bags.

Handcrafted, Cruelty-free and Proudly Indian, Hi-Designs brings the vibrant Indian culture to the modern world. We are unapologetically Indian. Proud but humble. Weaving tradition with the contemporary, we bring the modern Indian classic to the world.

Our Future Plans
Water Conservation Project
We at hi-designs are mending our ways to reduce the use of groundwater and save our natural water bodies from industrial contaminants. We will endorse new industrial methods to use water more efficiently and improve wastewater management.
Energy Efficient Production
We got to turn it off! Just like water, we are also on a quest to endorse more energy-efficient production methods. We are looking to switch to renewable energy and include more sustainable handmade production processes ethically.
Spread The Message of Sustainability
We will continue to participate in global conventions and events and will heavily use social media to spread the message about sustainability to our loyal customers and everyone else who cares.
Fighting Against Industrial Pollution
hi-designs is a pioneering jute bags manufacturing company, where we have introduced new and innovative ways to make our development processes more and more eco-conscious. And we will continue to do so in the future, to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce industrial pollution.
